Congratulations to Julian and his brother Dex for getting to toss the coin at the WAFL game on Saturday night. I'm sorry to say that I missed the live coverage on TV, but these photos are from Channel 7's Twitter site.
I know it is not an academic achievement related to the online program, but I love celebrating all our students' achievements (although I'm sure there are a lot I don't hear about - so I don't get to share them).
It is also another celebration for Julian, as he is finally getting to go home to Denmark this week after being in Perth for nearly a year, although he will still have some monthly visits for ongoing treatment.
We are all so very proud of you Julian, for your courage and determination in dealing with this challenge and how you have maintained your generous spirit and beautiful smile - although I know there would have been times when that was very difficult. We wish you and your family peace and happiness as you return home and get to be with everyone again.
