Week 8 Update
I can't believe it is nearly the end of term. I know a lot of you are doing end of topic tests and handing in major assignments. Just because it is nearly holidays, don't start to slow down just yet. Keep putting in 100% effort to do the best you can - you can rest in 10 days!!
Maths and Science Students
For those of you on a rotating lesson timetable - it is Week B. Sorry I forgot to remind you yesterday.
Science kits have been posted out to Year 7-9 Science students. Please look after these and not use the equipment/materials unless directed to by your Science teacher. Some of the materials may not be used until next year, so make sure they stay in the kit ready for when they are needed. These kits are to be kept at home for you to do some practical experiments. Keep it in a safe space that young children can't get to if you have younger siblings.
Text books from last year have still not been returned so we can't send out textbooks for this year. If you have a Maths textbook from last year please return it to me at Perth Modern School, 90 Roberts Road, Subiaco 6008
Interim Reports
Interim reports will be sent out to you to let your parents and yourself know how you are going so far this year. It focuses more on your work ethic and behaviour, and how you are going in the online learning environment, especially for the Year 7 and 8 students.
Please use the reports to give you direction in what you need to focus on for Term 2.
Online Etiquette
Please make sure you are using the Moodle communications tools responsibly eg messages, forums, profiles. Something that seems like a joke to you, may not be interpreted that way by another student, teacher, parent or school coordinator. Please let me know if someone is not being responsible in our online environment.
