Hi Everyone
Welcome back to GT Online for Term 4. Welcome also to Suzie who is a new student starting with the Year 8 Humanities program - please make her feel welcome.
Perth Modern and Kelmscott are both on PD Days today (Monday) so there are not any online classes as teachers are in meetings all day (Mrs Thomson is doing her Year 9 class today though and Miss Wakamatsu is doing her year seven class). Some of you may also be on student free days today.
I hope you all had a great holiday whether you went away or stayed home and relaxed. I can't believe it is nearly Christmas already - where has the year gone.
Remember that attending all of your online classes is compulsory, unless you have communicated with your teacher that you will be away due to sickness, appointment or important school event. The time with your teacher in online lessons is vital for teachers to ensure that you have grasped the concepts being taught. The independent study times are equally important to grasp your course content, so you need to make sure you are using this time effectively to complete set work - don't waste it!
Camp forms will be emailed out to parents tomorrow, so please check that your parents have received them and let me know if they haven't.
